The budget-minded bride and groom are finding a less costly alternative to buying an expensive wedding cake: renting a fake wedding cake for display & photos and serving  sheet cakes, cupcakes, pastry bar, chocolate fountain, individual cakes for each table in a variety of flavors, ethnic desserts & pastries (such as kolaches), make your own sundae bar, ice cream cones, a variety of candies, decorated sugar cookies, etc. Make your wedding unique and surprise your guests.

What a perfect opportunity to start a new business or expand your existing business (ex. wedding planner, party planner, catering, reception hall, etc)   Let me provide you with the know how and the products that will make your business prosper.

 Since I have added my Rent-A-Cake line  to  my website I have received many inquires from all over the US as to local availability of Rent-A-Cakes in their locality. Currently Rent-A-Cakes are only available from me in Central Minnesota area. Due to the growing popularity and requests for fake wedding cakes I have decided to expand the availability of this business thru local outlets.

What will your profit be??

Consider the number of weddings each weekend in your local area - maybe 10 - 15 in a small community and up to 100  + per weekend in a large city with suburbs.

You rent out 2 cakes a weekend @ $100 - $150 per cake that is $200 - $300 per weekend plus delivery & setup charges. You could easily rent several cakes per weekend thus increasing your profits.

6" or 8" = $20.00 - $45.00
10" or 12" = $45.00 - $60.00
14 " or 16" = $55.00 - 75.00

Any combination of sizes can be made but 2" increments
are appropriate.
 

This is just a guide line - you set your own rental prices depending on your location, cost per serving of real cakes, etc. what you are furnishing - silk or real flowers, ribbons, pillars, cake stands, etc.

Delivery & setup charges are an extra charge $20.00 and up

Also charge a deposit fee (value of cake) to customers to protect yourself if the

cake would be damaged or not returned by the customer.

 1 - 3 tier cake either square or round and accessories - see below package

1 - 6” square or round tier, 10” square or round tier, 14” square or round tier decorated with PermaIce (a washable non-edible artificial icing) each tier is  separate to allow for multiple cake options.

2 - 7" white square  or round separator plates

2 - 11" white square or round separator plates

8 - 5" white grecian pillars
